Job Title: Site Servicing Foreman

Job Summary: The Site Servicing Foreman is responsible for ensuring that the servicing crew has all the necessary information, tools, materials, and equipment to carry out their daily tasks efficiently. They must work closely with the servicing coordinator to ensure that all work is completed within budget and meets the highest standards for quality and safety. This role requires effective communication, meticulous planning, and the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve maximum productivity while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review job packages, daily emails, drawings, and information provided by the servicing coordinator to adequately prepare for each day's tasks.
  2. Visit job sites beforehand as necessary to ensure that plans for the day are viable and efficient.
  3. Maintain a daily log book as required to track progress and document any issues or concerns.
  4. Motivate the crew to achieve maximum production while adhering to safety protocols.
  5. Assist in setting daily goals for the crew and effectively communicate them to ensure efficiency.
  6. Conduct regular checks of all work to ensure accuracy and adherence to proper installation processes.
  7. Ensure that all job sites are kept clean, organized, and safe throughout the workday.
  8. Ensure that all completed work is left in a safe condition at the end of each day.
  9. Produce accurate timesheets for the crew on a daily basis.
  10. Utilize purchase orders to procure materials and submit them daily to maintain adequate supplies.
  11. Keep track of all tools and equipment, including rental equipment, and ensure proper maintenance and care.
  12. Coordinate with inspectors and assist with layout requirements as needed.
  13. Ensure that locates are completed properly and kept up to date to avoid delays in production.
  14. Maintain as-built drawings and notes as requested.
  15. Obtain approval from the Manager before cutting short any workdays.
  16. Lead the crew by example, demonstrating professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to safety at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or servicing industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional certifications or training in construction management or related fields preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • This role primarily operates in outdoor construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
  • May require occasional travel to different job sites or meetings.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
