The Business Development Representative is an mid-level sales position - serving as the primary relationship builder for new and existing accounts with the goal of growing sales, revenue and gross profit.

This position will require the right person to be able to attend outside appointments on a daily basis, have a flexible schedule to allow for growth of client base and have the desire for consistent growth.

Duties:

• Prospect, qualify and interview new leads via phone calls, emails and referrals
• Initiate and ensure outstanding client onboarding
• Work closely with clients to identify needs, provide solutions and ensure satisfaction
• Upsell products and services into current customer base
• Stay on top of learning new products, applications, programs and services

Must Haves:

• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
• Ability to learn new products, technologies and processes
• Excellent proposal development, presentation and negotiating skills
• Ability to uncover clients needs, biases, budgets, concerns and quality preferences
• Reliable vehicle, mobile phone and computer/tablet

Qualifications:

• Experience independently closing individual accounts with revenue over $250k
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets
• Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities
• Professional organization and time management skills
• Microsoft Office and Google Docs products
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience
