Clinical Nurse Manager – Bend, Oregon

One of Central Oregon's largest, physician-owned medical specialty groups is looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join their team!

 

What You Get to Do!

The Clinical Nurse Manager will play a vital role in overseeing our nursing and lactation teams across four physical locations. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

·         Provide leadership and administrative support to nursing and lactation teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

·         Establish performance standards and measurements for nursing and lactation teams in alignment with the mission and values.

·         Coordinate staffing across multiple clinics through the creation and maintenance of master schedules.

·         Oversee Nurse Advice Line coverage and communication between the organization and external partners.

·         Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and patient education materials.

·         Ensure compliance with department processes and documentation requirements, particularly related to Patient-Centered Primary Care Home Standards.

·         Facilitate communication and collaboration between patients, physicians, and other members of the treatment team.

·         Manage vaccine management and handling procedures, including coordination of site visits and liaison with vaccine representatives.

·         Organize seasonal flu clinics, AHA Basic Life Support classes, and training opportunities for clinical team members.

·         Collaborate with executive leadership and Human Resources in the recruitment and onboarding process of new clinical team members.

 

What You Will Bring!

·         Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in a health-related field preferred.

·         Current RN licensure with the Oregon State Board of Nursing and valid Oregon Driver's License.

·         Certification in nurse leadership, case management, or lactation preferred.

·         Minimum of five years of nursing experience with at least two years of healthcare management experience.

·         Experience in pediatric nursing and familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

·         Ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged standing or sitting, lifting up to 30 pounds, and using personal protective equipment as required
