Senior Accountant

Located in Lacey, WA

Salary: $90,000k-$100,000k DOE

Express is now hiring a Senior Accountant for a well-known Real Estate and Development Company based out of Lacey, WA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a competitive compensation package (+$100K DOE) includes salary, bonus pool eligibility, paid vacation, sick and holidays, fully paid medical, dental, life and disability insurance, and eligibility to participate in the 401K plan that includes up to a 4% match.

 

Job Duties:

• Refine financial statements and management report presentation. 
• Create and track operating budgets and maintain depreciation schedules
• Oversight of lease administration, rent roll reconciliations and tenant receivables. 
• Calculate and maximize common area expense recoveries
• Manage accounting staff
• Promote policies & procedures consistent with SAS standards
• Coordinate with CPA to complete audits and tax returns
• Assist with payroll administration, benefit renewals, and renewal of insurance package policies 

 

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• Must have direct hands-on experience driving the accounting cycle including reconciling general ledger accounts and creating accrual basis journal entries. 
• Advanced understanding of Excel to compile complex and detailed budgets
