Overview: One of our top clients is seeking a skilled electrician to join our team for the construction of an industrial warehouse project. As an electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the new construction site. While high voltage expertise is not required, proficiency in standard electrical systems and wiring is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
  2. Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  3. Collaborate with construction teams to plan and execute electrical installations during the various phases of the warehouse construction.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  5. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to maintain optimal functionality of electrical systems.
  6. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
  7. Coordinate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the construction project.
  8. Document all electrical work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance activities, accurately and comprehensively.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as an electrician in the construction industry, preferably within industrial or warehouse settings.
  2. Valid electrician license or certification as per state regulations.
  3. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  4. Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  5. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and communicate technical information effectively.
  8. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  9. Flexibility to work in varying environments and adapt to changing project requirements.
  10. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems is preferred.
