Retirement Account Specialist

Salary: $44,000-$55,000

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local company to look for a Retirement Account Specialist to join their team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive instructional materials and procedural guidelines for staff members.
• Facilitate training sessions for new hires and conduct regular training sessions for existing staff, at least annually.
• Perform thorough audits on IRA documents, identifying errors, and providing constructive feedback for necessary corrections.
• Calculate and update accounts for Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), and dispatch RMD letters to eligible account holders.
• Collaborate with team members to address any compliance-related concerns and ensure seamless operations within the department.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience working with IRAs and HSAs.
• Certification in IRA management is desirable, although not mandatory.
• Proficient understanding of both Roth and Traditional IRAs, including knowledge of the rules and regulations governing SEP and SIMPLE IRAs.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
