We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver with a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) certification to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess a valid CDL A or B license, have previous delivery experience, and be proficient in driving manual transmission trucks. This position involves transporting goods and materials to various destinations safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safe Operation of Vehicles:

   • Drive company vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
   • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
   • Safely load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit.

2. Delivery and Route Management:

   • Deliver goods and materials to customers or designated locations in a timely manner.
   • Follow established routes and schedules while maximizing efficiency.
   • Communicate with dispatch or supervisors regarding any delays, route changes, or issues encountered during deliveries.

3. Documentation and Record-Keeping:

   • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs, delivery confirmations, and any incidents or accidents.
   • Complete required paperwork such as delivery manifests, bills of lading, and customs documentation.
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

4. Customer Service:

   • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with customers and timely resolution of any issues or concerns.

5. TWIC Compliance:

   • Possess and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
   • Adhere to TWIC requirements and regulations when accessing secure port facilities or other TWIC-restricted areas.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in delivery or transportation roles.
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks (stick shift).
• TWIC certification is required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
