Industrial Painter

We are seeking an experienced and skilled industrial painter to join our team. This position prepares and paints various industrial equipment, machinery, and surfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing rust, grease, dirt, and old paint using sandblasting, chemical treatments, or other methods.
• Apply protective and decorative coatings such as primers, enamels, and epoxies.
• Mix paints and match custom colors according to specifications.
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of hazardous painting materials.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working order.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures when working with paints and solvents.
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience as an industrial painter.
• Highly skilled in operating sandblasters, spray painting equipment, and other tools.
• Ability to prepare surfaces using chemical and mechanical techniques.
• Knowledge of paints, coatings, thinners, and other painting materials.
• Excellent eye for color matching and achieving consistent coating thickness.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when needed.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work for extended periods.
