Travelling Millwright (Oregon)

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced millwright, with pipe fitting experience(preferred), and welding experience (required) to join our team. The ideal candidate must own a vehicle, and be willing to travel to various locations across the Oregon. The position is for evaluation to hire and the pay up to $25/hr with experience.

 

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Use hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble machinery and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machinery and equipment
• Fabricate and install piping systems
• Weld and braze metal parts together
• Work with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a millwright, pipe fitting, or welding apprenticeship program
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwright, pipe fitting, or welding
• Must own a reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel to various locations across the United States
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation:

• Pay is up to $25/hr with experience
• Per diem may be available
