Salary: $58,000-$71,000 DOE

Express is now hiring for a Civil CAD Designer at a local civil engineering company based out of Lacey, WA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. The schedule will be full-time Monday-Friday. The compensation for this position will start at $58,000-$71,000/yr DOE with a high bonus incentive program (10%-20% bump in compensation once established). This company offers a benefits package to include medical and life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with 3% contributions (no matching requirements), and vacation/sick/holiday pay. 

 

Job Details:  We are looking to hire a Civil CAD Designer with 5+ years of progressive experience designing and drafting civil engineering documents. This company offers the opportunity to be directly involved in a wide variety projects, including supporting civil engineers with creating site development, roadway and utility infrastructure plans for project permitting and construction.  This position requires a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, construction documents, and basic technical knowledge relating to civil engineering. You will be responsible for supporting design engineers and project managers with drafting and design responsibilities on a diverse range of civil engineering projects throughout the Northwest.

 

 

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and civil site development
• Ability to develop project documents with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Technical knowledge of engineering concepts and construction documents
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Strong technical and organizational skills
• Ability to estimate task durations and plan and complete work to meet project schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Course Certificate in CAD
