We are doing some exciting things with a leading manufacturer and distributor in Tipton, IN that is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our client's quality assurance program. You will be the driving force behind ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

 

This is a direct hire placement paying $85,000 - $100,000+

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Manager:

• Develop and implement the company''s quality assurance program in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards
• Create and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures that align with the company''s strategic goals and objectives
• Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards
• Coordinate and oversee the documentation, communication, and resolution of quality issues
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Lead the training and development of employees on quality assurance principles and practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to quality assurance and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Manager:

• Bachelor''s degree in a related field
• Minimum of [number] years of experience in quality assurance, with experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and AS 9100 certification
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards and regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Experience leading quality audits and implementing corrective and preventive action plans
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality assurance tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Must be willing to attend ongoing education, including management and quality courses
