We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Electric Motor Repair Assistant to join our locally owned shop specializing in the repair of electric motors. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the field.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Dependable and able to follow directions
• Motivated to work in a mechanical setting
• Basic hand tool knowledge is essential

Responsibilities: As an entry-level laborer in our electric motor shop, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Tearing down electric motors for repair.
2. Cleaning various parts and pieces to ensure optimal functionality.
3. Assisting with basic mechanical tasks under the guidance of the shop foreman.
4. Learning and retaining information provided by the shop foreman to advance your skills.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position
• Monday to Friday
• 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Working Environment: This role involves working in a mechanical shop setting where you may get dirty due to the nature of the tasks involved. The position provides room for advancement based on your ability to learn and apply the skills taught by the shop foreman.
