Warehouse Clerk Job Summary:

The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for assisting in the efficient operation and management of the warehouse. This includes receiving, preparing, and delivering products, materials, and supplies to the appropriate departments or locations. The Warehouse Clerk will also be responsible for keeping accurate records and tracking inventory.

 Responsibilities:

• Receive daily shipments and unpack, sort and store items in correct stockroom and warehouse locations that allow for easy access according to documented standards.
• Inspects all orders being received and shipped, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.
• Assist in kitting and all other warehouse activities in support of manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all operating systems and safety protocols pertaining to the work area.
• Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy (Minimize inventory discrepancies or losses).
• Reports and returns damaged or rejected items/products.
• Operates forklift or other machinery required for transporting large orders and heavy products.
• 5S (Keeps warehouse area clean and organized).
• Reports to warehouse supervisor or management to alert them of any issues with shipping or receiving.
• Prepare shipments and manifests daily external distribution of items to customers, vendors. Accurately and safely packs and ships customer orders for delivery.
• Deliver and pick up items/products as required.

 Qualifications

• Ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of NetSuite a plus
• Experience and knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.
• Good driving record and valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary (lift, push, or carry up to 25 pounds; utilize visual acuity to operate equipment such as forklift, ladder)
• Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products
• Demonstrates familiarity with all warehouse safety precautions and can always observe these protocols.
• 3-5 years experience
