Express Employment Professionals is hiring Equipment Operators in Jeffersonville, IN. This is a temp-to-hire position working 1st shift Mon-Fri 7am-3pm.

 

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment (Reach Truck) during material handling and warehouse as required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies. 
• Operate equipment in warehouse, in and out of trailers, and within safety zones. 
• Verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing prior to moving materials. 

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. 
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing or pulling various items of varying weight (up to 50lbs.). 
• Requires work from heights of up to 20ft from floor. 

Qualifications Needed

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
• 1+ years of Equipment Operator (reach truck, forklift) experience. 
• Basic mathematical skills. 
• Ability to read/write English for documentation purposes.
