Key Responsibilities:

• Perform light electronics tasks such as soldering, assembly, wiring, calibration and other similar tasks.
• Ability to solder components onto PCBs.
• Isolate and diagnose problems with PCBoard Assemblies.
• Performs light calibrations of load cells using dead weights and Instron machine.
• Participates in maintaining laboratory standards and equipment. 
• Work with engineering team to create new products, fulfill orders and create and maintain quality control procedures

 

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2–5 years of related experience as an Electronic Tehcnician and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Knowledge of printed circuit board and mechanically inclined with light assembly experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Docs.

 

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED
• One year certificate from college or tech / vocational school. 

 

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and move between 10 - 20 lbs

 

Equipment Used:

• Voltmeters, Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, light mechanical tools such as drill press, sander etc.
• Soldering Iron, Tweezers, microscope, re-work equipment.

 

Qualities Preferred:

• Attention to detail and able to solder under microscope.
• Must have strong verbal and written skills as well as basic computer skills.
