Recycling Services Specialist | Georgetown, OH
1st Shift | $15/hour 

Requirements:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word
• Strong general office skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and able to prioritize and complete work activities
• Physically able to complete light-duty non-office field work

Core Functions - Office:
• Become knowledgeable and proficient in all office systems & procedures, including but not limited to: customer information & communications, curbside office services, Glass reFactory sales, Personnel & non-staff services
• Answer and direct calls
• Dispense recycling information
• Update printed information
• Straighten/pickup lunch room as needed
• Wash work gloves, etc
• Daily updating of curbside “database”
• Create & mail annual Curbside calendars to ~2500 customers
• Pack & ship small orders for glass suncatchers ~ 2x times/wk
• Maintain glass sales records and submit reports
• Place advertising for staff openings, create & dispense information for non-staff workers/jobs (Temporary workers, Community Service workers, Summer Youth workers, etc)

Core Functions - Field Duties:
Work in the field and become skillful at the following activities, including but not limited to:
• Monthly curbside cart delivery & pickup of ~ 6 carts, using a small truck
• Manage/deliver/pickup loaner recycling bins at a few local fairs & festivals
• Occasionally assist with sort line & buying
• Obtain forklift license while on the job (will train)
• Propose projects or services to improve & refine current recycling systems & processes, or to develop new recycling processes & systems.

 

Shift: 1st Shift, M-F, 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $15/hour
