A leading and innovative manufacturer located in Georgetown, TX is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join their Human Resources team. As the HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HR department. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, and contributing to the overall success of our workforce.

Pay Rate: $20.00-$30.00/hour depending on experience 

Work schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the company culture.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, working closely with HR Manager to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Manage personnel records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, and employee handbooks.
  • Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment verifications and status changes.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits programs.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the effective administration of employee benefits.         
  • Support training initiatives by coordinating workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities.
  • Track employee training and development activities to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Stay informed about labor laws and regulations, ensuring company policies align with legal requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR or related roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, with the ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
