Responsibilities:

1. Drywall Installation:

   • Secure drywall panels to the framework using appropriate tools and techniques.
   • Ensure accurate alignment and proper positioning of drywall.

2. Taping and Floating (Level 5 Finish):

   • Apply joint compound to seams, corners, and screw indentations to create a smooth surface.
   • Tape and finish drywall joints to achieve a Level 5 finish.
   • Sand surfaces to achieve a seamless and smooth texture.

3. Quality Assurance:

   • Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
   • Address any imperfections or deficiencies in the drywall finish promptly.
   • Collaborate with team members to achieve consistent and high-quality results.

4. Team Collaboration:

   • Coordinate with other construction professionals, including painters and contractors, to ensure a seamless construction process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Mechanic or similar role.
• Proficient in the installation, taping, and floating of drywall to achieve a Level 5 finish.
