Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic for a locally owned pre-owned dealership in Georgetown, IN. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position working 1sst shift Monday-Friday.

 

The ideal candidate will be seeking a position with a small, close-knit team dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability of their vehicles, while upholding a positive work environment that values dedication and loyalty.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive 172-point vehicle inspection to ensure the quality and safety of vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and light engine work.
• Handle a variety of repairs, including but not limited to:
  • Honda timing belts and water pump replacements
  • Wheel hub replacements
  • Serpentine belt and tensioner repairs
  • Diagnostic checks for “check engine” lights and other dashboard indicators
  • Transmission related tasks, including Ford solenoid repairs and Chevy transmission flushes.
  • Addressing various oil leaks across different vehicle makes
• Collaborate with sales and customer service team to provide updates on vehicle readiness and repair timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment while always adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as an auto mechanic/technician.
• Prior knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repaid techniques.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
