Position Overview:

We are looking for a Quality Technician with a strong background in the electronics industry, specifically in the realm of connectors and wire harnesses. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, wear multiple hats, and possess leadership qualities to guide a team of dedicated professionals. This role will ideally require someone with exposure to ISO 9001 audits, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

·         · Perform inspections and tests on various connectors and wire harnesses to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

·         · Assist the Quality Manager with implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to uphold process integrity.

·         · Identify and address any deviations from quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

 

ISO 9001 Audits:

·         · Conduct or assist with internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

·         · Assist Quality Manager with implementing corrective actions to address any non-conformities identified during audits.

·         · Support the continuous improvement of quality management systems.

 

Documentation and Reporting:

·         · Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections and tests.

·         · Generate reports summarizing quality metrics and key performance indicators.

·         · Communicate quality-related information to relevant stakeholders.

·         · Document quality checks to augment Product Build Instructions.

 

Qualifications:

·         ·Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

·        · Previous experience in a quality technician role within the electronics industry, with a focus on MIL-SPEC connectors and wire harnesses.

·         ·Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and experience conducting internal audits.

·         · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·         · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         · Leadership experience and a proactive approach to team collaboration.

·        · Desire to contribute to the growth and success of the company.

 

Education & Certifications:

· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (desired) in a related field or equivalent experience in electronics quality control.

·        · Lean/Six-Sigma Green Belt or higher a plus.

·         ·IPC Certification experience is preferred.
