Quality Control Intern

We are looking for a Quality Control Intern for a wood products manufacturer in Medford.  This is a paid internship for someone currently in college looking for work this spring/summer.  Ideal field of study is in Business, Engineering, Math, or other sciences in 1st-3rd year of school.  We can consider recent graduates as well.

This role supports the Technical team by performing trials, testing, and recording data for new processes and product improvement projects. 

MAJOR TASKS

• Perform plant trials and record data.
• Audit incoming, in process, and finished goods material.
• Assist with Corrective Action Process
• Perform physical lab testing and record data.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Ability to use Microsoft office products including Word/Excel
• Good driving record to use pool car to commute between Medford and Yreka as needed.
• Ability to record data
• Ability to use micrometers/dial indicators etc.
• Must be able to work on concrete floors for extended amount of time (up to 8-hours).
• Perform manual tasks as needed.

This is a fulltime position (40 hours a week) working Monday-Friday with some flexibility in work hours ranging from 6am-5pm.  Starting wage is $20.00/hr
