Set Up Technician

Set up and operation of various machines/equipment (extrusion lines, slitting operations, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders), quality control, basic housekeeping, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning ability
• physical coordination
• experience with hand held measuring equipment /blueprint & drawings
• good math and computer skills
• high attention to detail
• forklift license/experience,
• strong communication skills
• ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes.

• Previous experience in a continuous production process (not assembly line) setting up, troubleshooting, tear downs, change overs

• 12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround, hours are 7-7
• Averaging agreements in place
• 84 hrs biweekly
