Precision CNC Machinist and Toolmaker Wanted

Are you an experienced CNC machinist and toolmaker? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to operate a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically-controlled machine tools to produce precision metal parts, fixtures, instruments, dies, and tools for our production operations.

Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Evaluation to Hire role up to $32 an hour 

Springfield, Ohio

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, sketches, and specifications
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machining centers, lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
- Compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances to meet exact specifications
- Finish parts through filing, grinding, polishing, and surface smoothing
- Test and inspect completed tooling for quality and adherence to requirements
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and repair/maintain production tooling
- Operate manual machine shop equipment for tooling creation and repair
- Follow documented quality systems and processes
- Assist with continuous improvement and preventative maintenance efforts

Required Skills:

- Extensive experience with CNC machining and conventional machine tools
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD/CAM data
- Strong mathematical aptitude for calculating dimensions and tolerances
- Knowledge of metallurgy and machining processes for various materials
- Ability to problem-solve and optimize manufacturing/tooling processes
- Dedication to producing high-quality workmanship that exceeds expectations
