Welder

Located in New Bedford, MA

Salary: $28 per hour

We have an IMMEDIATE need for multiple Welders at all levels in the New Bedford area.

Hours: Full time, Monday through Friday / 5:00am - 3:00pm with Mandatory Friday OT

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour depending on experience

Welder Responsibilities:

· Manually TIG weld dissimilar metals

· Produce quality welds using TIG and MIG processes, maintain weld quality and characteristics

· Operate required machinery in the department

· Inspect completed pieces to ensure quality standards and specifications are met

· Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

· Other duties as assigned

Welder Requirements:

· Minimum 2-3 years welding experience, understanding proper welding practices

· Ability to set-up computerized machines and physically shape components

· Ability to operate various types of bending, flaring, and shaping equipment

· Ability to communicate and interact effectively in all situations

· ASME Welding Certificate preferred

· High School Diploma or GED with technical training preferred
