Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. If you have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive or diesel engine repair, we encourage you to apply. This position involves performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on a multitude of public works, municipality, and contractor environmental equipment. Work being performed closely relates that of a heavy equipment technician. Pay will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Previous Experience Recommended

• Proficient in hydraulic systems including electric over hydraulic and air over hydraulic systems
• Understanding of electrical theory
• Ability to read and comprehend wiring schematics
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
• High mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Fabrication, Welding (MIG/Stick), and Class 7/8 Chassis Experience is a Plus
• CDLB is preferred

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment
- Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment
- Experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment repair is preferred
