Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Rack Assembler to join our team and contribute to the assembly of computer racks. As a Rack Assembler, you will be responsible for constructing computer racks according to specifications and blueprints. Your duties will include assembling frame structures, installing shelves, mounting hardware components, and ensuring the overall quality and functionality of the racks. Additionally, you will be required to inspect finished racks for defects and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Assemble frame structures using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Install shelves, brackets, rails, and other hardware components as per specifications.
• Mount electronic equipment, power supplies, and networking devices within the racks.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure racks meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Test the functionality of assembled racks and troubleshoot any issues or defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in rack assembly, preferably in a computer or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in assembly work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for recording assembly data and accessing instructions.
• Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and follow proper procedures.
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
