Description:

One of our local clients in Kennewick is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate must be mechanically inclined to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

What Youll Be Doing:

·         Diagnose, inspect, repair, and assemble equipment

·         Document repairs and complete paperwork

·         Track all materials used in repairs or replacements

·         Operate power tools and hand tools

·         Provide excellent customer service via phone/or in person

·         Load/unload freight from trucks to the shop

·         Follow all safety procedures

 

Requirements:

 

·         Must be able to lift 50 lbs+

·         Stand, kneel, bend, reach, squat, etc.

·         Valid Washington driver’s license

·         Clean driving record preferred and proof of motor vehicle record

·         Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check

·         1 year of mechanical and repair experience

·         Strong communication skills

·         Strong organization skills and attention to detail

·         Ability to function well in high-paced and at times in stressful environments

·         Strong punctuality

 

Pay: $17.00-$20.00

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8/8:30am-5:00pm

Position Type: Temp to Hire
