Our client located in Harrison, NJ is seeking a Welder/Metal Fabricator for their Metal Fabrication company. The Welder/Metal Fabricator will be involved in all parts of the fabrication process, from raw material to finished product. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, with company benefits once converted to Direct Hire. The Welder/Fabricator will have the opportunity to fabricate high profile projects throughout New York City! 

Welder/Metal Fabricator Responsibilities

• Cut, assemble, and weld metal components for stairs and railings, according to provided blueprints
• Inspect completed drawings and work for errors and troubleshoot issues
• Assist in the movement of material throughout the fabrication facility
• Complete projects independently and within a team on a timely basis

Welder/Metal Fabricator Requirements

• At least 2 years experience as a Welder/Metal Fabricator
• Experienced in MIG and TIG welding, fabricating railings and stairs
• Proficient using precision measuring tools such as calipers
• Ability to read blueprints

*Welding Test will be administered as part of the interview process*

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 7am – 3:30pm (Overtime Availability)

Pay: $20 - $32/hr. depending on experience
