What we're looking for in a M.E.P Engineer:

• Lead the electrical design and engineering efforts for commercial and industrial projects, including lighting, power distribution, and other electrical systems.
• Utilize expertise in electrical engineering principles and codes to develop and seal design documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative design solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, managing all aspects of electrical design, including conceptualization, drafting, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical design inquiries and technical support, providing guidance and expertise to internal and external teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and drafters, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and plumbing specialists as needed to integrate electrical systems with other building components.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software proficiently to create detailed drawings and models for design and contract documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with the ability to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
• Experience with industrial electrical design is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of mechanical (HVAC) or plumbing systems is a plus.
