Fitter Welder *RESUME REQUIRED*

 

Summary:

We are seeking a Welder Fitter or Fitter Welder to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for joining metal pieces in a variety of scenarios, but you will primarily be welding steel pipes and other features. You should have a certificate from the American Welding Society, and we expect you to be skilled in MIG welding and TIG welding. A background in steel manufacturing or metal fabricating is beneficial as well.

Responsibilities:

• Review schematics to ensure you have the proper equipment and materials
• Set up your welding equipment on-site
• Heat the metal using your torch and shape the material according to the design
• Join the metal piece to the rest of the construction
• Follow all safety protocols and clean up your workspace upon completion

Location: Olathe, KS Area

Pay: starting @ $22/Hr, Depending on experience, PAID WEEKLY!

Schedule: 2nd Shift

• 4PM-12:00AM M-F

Qualification:

• A high school diploma or GED certificate
• An AWS certificate (preferred)
• Welding experience
• Blueprint reading skills
• Physical stamina
