Maintenance Technician

Located in Grand Rapids, MI

Salary: $50,000-$60,000/year

Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

An automotive manufacturing company based in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring Maintenance Technicians to their team. Maintenance Technicians perform machine repairs, rebuilds, refurbishments, and preventative maintenance. They respond to machine repair calls, preventative maintenance as assigned, and any additional projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor with a goal of keeping production moving seamlessly.

 

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Complete preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as assigned
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and spraying systems
• Troubleshoot and repair robots and robot cells
• PLC programming, HMI development, and vision camera configurations

 

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday-Friday

• 3pm-11pm (2^nd shift)
• 11pm-7am (3^rd shift)

• $24-$28/hour

 

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Ability to interpret and understand blueprints and schematics
• 3+ years’ experience completing mechanical troubleshooting and repair; automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with various departments
• Knowledge of PLC and robotic systems; programming and troubleshooting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• This role requires successful completion of pre-employment screens including a background check and drug screen
