CNC Programmer

Salary: $25-$40 DOE

Express Employment Specialist is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join a local Tyler TX company. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-quality components and parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, and a commitment to precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
• Must have own tools and the ability to read calipers.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to test and verify programs.
• Optimize and adjust CNC programs to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other team members to ensure program accuracy and meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues and machine errors.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or in a similar role.
• Technical certification in CNC programming, machining, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
