Our client in Cedar Rapids is looking for a Non-CDL Delivery Driver!!

General Duties:

Picking, checking, staging and loading material onto trucks for delivery on own route and others’ routes while verifying accuracy of material and paperwork
Investigating any material that is left on the docks or misplaced throughout the facility
Hot Shot Deliveries for clients requiring direct and immediate service
Providing a high level of customer service to all internal and external personnel
Collecting payment from our customers when necessary
Completion of a daily route log, daily truck inspections, and other documentation
Learning the industry, products and processes to improve our competitive advantage
Assistance with other tasks in the warehouse and office as necessary

Requirements:

An existing operator’s license to operate a single-unit vehicle (16' - 30' box truck) with a gross vehicle weight rating of up through 26,000-pound. Must be able to maintain appropriate licensing for the duration of your employment
Must have a clean criminal and driving background, and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
An eagerness to learn and excel with a perpetually positive attitude
The ability to work well independently and within a team environment
A willingness to adapt quickly and frequently to our growing organization
Punctuality, reliability and a relentless dedication to expressive communication
Aptitude to frequently lift, move and re-position tires of varying dimensions (up to 50 lbs)
Driving skills to operate lift trucks, pick-up trucks, vans, and box trucks
Capable handling more responsibility over time and cross-training into other positions and/or adjusting to the needs of our business daily, hourly, or otherwise

Pay: $18.00/hr
