Refrigeration Technician

Located in Taunton, MA

Salary: $30 - $35 per hour

We have several clients in the Taunton area looking for exprienced Refrigeration Technicians. The Refrigeration Technicians will coordinate production activities, manufacturing and personnel management. Minimum 2 years’ experience with refrigeration and HVAC in a manufacturing environment required.

Hours: Full Time / Monday thru Friday / 1st and 2nd shifts available

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience

Manufacturing Supervisor (Refrigeration) Responsibilities:

· Analyze manufacturing requirements, prepare production schedule, distribute work assignments

· Maintain established production schedules to meet production requirements

· Use blueprints and other technical drawings to fabricate, assemble, test and repair cascade and multiple stage refrigeration systems for environmental test equipment

· Test lines, components, and connections for leaks, remove air and moisture from system and charge with refrigerant

· Test, diagnose and repair defective refrigeration systems at all levels of assembly

· Assist in the training and development of Refrigeration team

· Comply with all safety rules and practices and maintain clean work area and equipment

· Assign and review team members’ work, and work closely with team on day-to-day activities and workload

Manufacturing Supervisor (Refrigerator) Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience with Refrigeration/HVAC in a manufacturing environment

· Previous supervisory experience

· Must possess Sections 608 Certification in refrigeration recovery

· Ability to use a variety of test and calibration equipment and hand tools

· Use computers to perform automated testing of equipment, soldering iron, hand crimp tools.

· Proficient in the use of schematics, blueprints, and piping diagrams

· High school diploma/GED required, Technical Education in Refrigeration Trade School/Certificate Program Preferred
