We are seeking one Junior Accountant for a Healthcare Insurance company in the downtown area. You will be responsible for assisting the accounting department with Cash/Checks deposits, verifying transactions, updating inventory records, prepare various documents, audits and assist with maintaining licenses and certification. Junior Accountant Duties:
  • Prepares and sort invoices, vouchers, and reports
  • Enter and update inventory records, of supplies and fixed assets
  • Review and analyzes financial reports and process business transactions
  • Conducts daily deposit
  • Assist with maintaining licenses, certificates and manage employee benefits record
Junior Accountant Requirements:
  • A minimum combination of one (2) year of administrative and accounting experience 
  • Associates degree in accounting preferred but not required.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiar with general accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must have verbal and written communication skills
