Welder / Shop Technician - 1st shift

Salary: $18.00 - $21.00

Express Employment Brighton/Howell is assisting a client in New Hudson, MI for experienced shop technician/welder to join their team. In this role, you will be building and assemble tube & pipe gates and to perform general welding & fabrication in a shop setting. This is not a entry level position and must require experience.

This position is a contract to hire and must interview on site at the client if selected from Express Employment Brighton/Howell,

1st shift: 7:30am - 4pm; Monday to Friday with availability to work overtime during the week and open to weekend.

Pay rate: $18.00 - $21.00 based on experience.

Requirements:
- MIG and Stick welding experience
- Good math skills and reading measurement
- Good organizational skills and time management
- Ability to lift 40 - 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a shop setting
- High school diploma or GED
- Own transportation
- Can work in a fast pace setting
