Express Employment is hiring Material Handlers for a great company in Conway, SC!

Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for visually inspecting, packaging, and transporting product from the production area into inventory. Will also be responsible for shipping, receiving.

Responsibilities:

• Use overhead crane and magnet to package amorphous metal spools in box, move to pallet, wrap, seal, and label

• Use forklift to transport packaged material to inventory, load & unload onto common carrier

• Re-work nonconforming materials, as needed

• Pull materials from inventory, package, print labels, and wrap products for shipment

• Enter product and shipping data into computer system for tracking

• Communicate with 3rd-party common carrier to schedule pick-up and delivery

Skills/Experience/Education:

• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

• Basic computer skills: ability to enter, retrieve, and evaluate data

• Prior industrial/mechanical experience (preferred)

• High school graduate or equivalent(GED) (required)

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, open availability preferred
