Job Title: CDL A Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable CDL A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations. This role requires a valid CDL Class A license, a clean driving record, and a commitment to adhering to all transportation regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Operation:

   • Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods and materials to specified locations.
   • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
   • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.

2. Cargo Handling:

   • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
   • Secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
   • Verify the accuracy of shipment contents and documentation.

3. Route Planning and Navigation:

   • Plan and follow designated routes using maps, GPS, or other navigation tools.
   • Communicate with dispatchers and transportation managers regarding route updates, delays, or other issues.

4. Safety and Compliance:

   • Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all applicable transportation regulations.
   • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and the protection of cargo.
   • Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to supervisors immediately.

5. Customer Service:

   • Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner.
   • Communicate effectively with customers and respond to inquiries or concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
