The Mitigation Technician-Lead role involves working safely in residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, storms, or mold. Responsibilities include recruiting and coaching technicians, surveying damage, evaluating and recording damage to items, managing cleaning processes for both contents and structural damage, and conducting demolition using hand and power tools. Technicians also clean up job sites after demolition, perform initial site visits, conduct moisture inspections, set restoration equipment, and maintain notes of assigned jobs in the primary operating system. They communicate with customers regarding job timelines, take photos throughout the process, and maintain and unload/reload assigned vehicles with equipment. Other duties include keeping equipment clean and organized, unloading trash, recording time, and coding it to the assigned job. Additionally, technicians are expected to pass IICRC certifications and assist in training new hires.
