Grinding Department

Located in Katy, TX

Salary: $21 - $22 DOE

Hot Job opportunity working in the Grinding department for a small component manufacturer in the Katy area. Looking for people that have a good work ethic and the ability to learn new skills.  

 

You are a qualified candidate if:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a MANUFACTURING (Product Assembly line, machine operator, general labor) environment and understand production goals.
• You have at least 6 months of experience with any of the following spring-end grinding machines; crush style, down feed, single end.
• You are comfortable working in a team environment.
• You have high technical skills and self-assessment capabilities 

You are an ideal candidate if:

• You have over 6 months of experience with any of the following spring-end grinding machines: crush style, down feed, and single end
• You have experience with deburr and shot peening equipment
• You have experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• You have high precision, high accuracy hands-on experience. 

Job Responsibilities:

Complete understanding, competence, and operation (and set up) of all crush, downfeed, and single end style grinders. You have experience completing quality reports and with manufacturing software.
