Can you TIG it? Express Employment is looking for skilled Welders to join a well-known steel fabrication facility in La Crosse, WI. This position offers long-term, full-time positions to those searching for a positive atmosphere and steady work!

 

Job Title:  Welder

Wage: $18-$20/hour

Hours: 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday

 

 

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment
• Read job information sheets (JIS) and blueprints
• Accurately measure workpiece dimensions based on blueprint specifications
• Remove burrs and sharp edges from workpiece
• Verify final piece meets quality expectations for job
• Welding experience in stair cases or railings is preferred
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision

 

Job requirements include:

• HSD/GED, or 1 year of relevant experience is required
• Ability to pass welder qualification test
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs throughout shift
• Ability to follow all safety policies and protocols
• Must be a team player
