IT and Systems Specialist – Redmond, Oregon

What You Get to Do!

As an IT and Systems Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting our executive team, driving system-wide innovation, and implementing robust security measures to protect organizational data. This role involves managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting both new and existing systems, integrating various platforms and systems, managing equipment, and overseeing fiscal aspects related to IT.

·       Management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of new and existing IT systems (50%).

·       Vendor management, platform integration, and ensuring system interoperability (30%).

·       Equipment protection, inventory management, and asset tracking (10%).

·       Overseeing purchasing and fiscal management related to IT and systems (15%).

Program Expertise and Account Management:

·       Manage Microsoft 365 and Office Suite accounts.

·       Oversee SharePoint account management.

·       Handle printing program account management.

·       Conduct cost and utilization analysis of all IT and systems programs and contracts.

·       Provide information deliverables to the executive team.

IT Equipment and Asset Management:

·       Order, set up, and ship IT equipment including phones, computers, printers, etc.

·       Maintain a comprehensive inventory database of all tech assets.

·       Coordinate equipment maintenance with external vendors.

·       Troubleshoot various IT equipment issues.

·       Develop training manuals and orientation courses for new employees on IT platforms and systems.

·       Manage new employee tech onboarding and training.

Data Protection and System Security:

·       Facilitate weekly communications with the executive team on project status and updates.

·       Develop and maintain a secure IT infrastructure.

·       Assist in shared drive migrations and company file/server security.

·       Establish and enforce IT department policies and procedures.

 

What You Will Bring:

·       Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, and other relevant IT platforms.

·       Experience in IT asset management and inventory control.

·       Strong understanding of data protection and system security principles.

·       Ability to create and implement IT policies and training programs.

·       Excellent communication and organizational skills.
