Job Title: CDL Driver

Responsibilities:

1. Safe Operation of Commercial Vehicles: Drive company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.

2. Transportation of Goods: Load, unload, and transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and careful handling of cargo.

3. Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to minimize fuel consumption and delivery times, while considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and road closures.

4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries. Complete all necessary paperwork, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts.

5. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with deliveries.

6. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as refueling, checking oil levels, and reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.

7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies. Maintain a valid CDL and any other required certifications.

Requirements:

1. Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A or Class B).
2. Clean driving record with no major violations.
3. Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests and background checks.
4. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
5. Excellent driving skills, including maneuvering in tight spaces and adverse weather conditions.
6. Physical stamina and strength to load/unload cargo and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
7. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
8. Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
9. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
