Express Employment Professionals has need for Carpenters. All experiences welcome. First shift. Monday - Friday. $20 - $28 DOE

 

Responsible for the entire process of creating beautiful, functional, and high-quality custom cabinetry, from initial client consultations to final installation. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a hands-on, creative environment and takes pride in their craftsmanship.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for custom cabinetry projects.
• Work with designers and architects to interpret plans and specifications for cabinets.
• Select appropriate lumber, hardware, and finishing materials based on project requirements and client preferences.
• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including saws, routers, jointers, and sanders.
• Cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinet components according to precise specifications and high-quality standards.
• Apply stains, varnishes, and other finishes to achieve the desired aesthetic.
• Install cabinets on-site, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document work progress and complete project reports as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a custom cabinet maker or related field beneficial
• Proven ability to create high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry.
• Strong understanding of woodworking principles, techniques, and materials.
• Proficiency in using a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
