We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with various accounting functions, primarily focusing on the monthly closing process. This individual will be responsible for handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing necessary documentation and reconciling accounts.
• Accounts Payable:
  • Process checks and maintain vendor files.
  • Monitor and maintain petty cash.
  • Assist with reviewing and validating vendor credit card charges.
• Accounts Receivable:
  • Process customer credit card payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Initiate and submit bank tender files for ACH payments.
  • Verify the accuracy of account postings to ensure proper reconciliation.
• General Ledger:
  • Aid in the monthly closing process by compiling data and preparing journal entries.
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
