Express Employment Professionals is looking to fill a Field Service Technician position in Massillon Ohio. 

In this position, you would perform activities associated with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential generator equipment, industrial engines and related electronic components; investigates and resolves customer reports of technical problems; works as directed to eliminate future operational or service difficulties by performing preventative/scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, and necessary repairs.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

-Installs or supports the installation of new or modified equipment at customer’s location to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
-Reviews performance reports and documentation and inspects malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine nature and scope of problem and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
-Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
-Provides on-site technical services to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
-Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
-Participates in training on the technical particulars and safe operations of the equipment.

Competencies & Qualifications:

-Experience repairing either engines, generators, turbines, motors, or gears
-Understanding of electricity
-Willingness and ability to travel
-Get-it-done attitude
-High school, technical school, or GED equivalent required.
-Valid driver’s license

Preference:

-Professional experience and training on a leading brand of generators or engines (Kohler, Scania, Deutz, CAT, Cummins, Generac, Mitsubishi, Ford, MAN, MTU)
