Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
A company based in Grand Rapids, MI is adding a traveling Maintenance Technician to their growing team. This individual will be stationed at the Grand Rapids, MI company location, but will be required to travel locally and nationally to the other company sites to service and repair grinding equipment. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity with a company that is willing to train and invest in its team.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Complete equipment troubleshooting and repairs for various company locations on-site
- Collaborate with team members locally and out of state
- Conduct follow-up communication with colleagues locally and out of state
- Frequent local and national travel is required
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
- $55,000-$60,000/year based on experience
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret and understand blueprints and schematics
- 2+ years’ experience completing mechanical troubleshooting
- General machine maintenance knowledge
- Experience with metal grinding equipment a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- This role requires successful completion of pre-employment screens including a background check and drug screen
