Quality Inspector (Multiple Openings)
Monday-Thursday
Day
5am-3:30pm
The Quality Inspector inspects all production parts to ensure that proper specifications are met prior to shipment. This position offer suggestions and feedback to
production cells on how quality guidelines can and should be met to satisfy company and/or customer standards and requirements.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
· Inspects parts visually to ensure all proper specifications are met prior to shipment
· Uses provided equipment to measure parts to ensure proper dimensions and other specifications are met
· Tests parts with provided equipment to ensure that they meet quality specifications
· Utilizes drawings and templates to determine quality standards when evaluating parts
· Communicates quality issues with appropriate personnel as soon as an issue is detected
· Documents quality control related issues as required
· Conducts receiving inspections, calibration and record information, and work station audits when needed
· Issues discrepancy reports and corrective action requests
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
Qualifications:
· A high school diploma, GED, or proven proficiency in basic reading, writing, and math in English is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired
· A combination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact educational and/or experience requirements
· Prior experience and/or training in understanding and handling blue prints is desired
· Prior experience in quality assurance or control is preferred
· Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office is required
