Salary: $20-$30 an hour

Diesel Mechanic- 

We are working closely with one of our clients seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team! You will repair and service light-duty diesel engines and motors with a high degree of precision.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, hydraulic, air, turbo, and exhaust systems
• Dismantle diesel motors, replace defective parts, and reassemble
• Perform tune-ups and component replacement
• Conduct regular maintenance and preventative service
• Operate vehicle lifts, engine hoists, and other shop equipment
• Basic welding repairs as needed
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance

Requirements:

• 2-5 years experience as a diesel mechanic or related role
• Experience with gas engines is also beneficial
• Knowledge of diesel and gas motor components and systems
• Ability to use specialty automotive tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Diesel mechanic certification preferred
