Seeking a dynamic Human Resources Specialist to manage external relationships, streamline recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with HR laws for a local shelter. Showcase expertise in Employee Development plans and digital recordkeeping while contributing to our collaborative team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage external relationships, job postings, and candidate evaluations.
• Advise on HR matters, organize employee records, and conduct orientations.
• Administer evaluations, oversee recruitment, and maintain compliance.
• Act as an I9 Verification expert, manage driver lists, and ensure PTM Program oversight.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HR laws, Employee Development plans, and digital recordkeeping.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field and/or three years of professional human resources experience.
• SHRM-CP/PHR Certification preferred.
• Or any equivalent combination.
